I've seen asian girls who go very dramatic -- beautiful, black, silky hair one day, then peroxide, damaged, blonde the next. Yuck! I think if any girl who has brunette hair wants to go lighter, they should make it a gradual change. That way it doesn't look like they're trying too hard to fit in...
