I stopped by Wet Seal yesterday to pick up some cute summer clothes and I nabbed a couple of really cute tops. Then I went online to grab some pics to show you guys and I totally got distracted by all the cute graphic tanks. And plus Wet Seal does this awesome fab thing where they pair the tops with bottoms and accessories! (Very clever idea!)

The first top I got is really plain. Just a black lace tee but here is the graphic top I bought and I’ll show you some of the outfits they concocted.

Isn’t it cute? The back has half lace on it! So it shows my flower tattoos! Love!

Cute right? I kinda want to shop some more…I shouldn’t but well it’s summer and I need a whole new wardrobe.

Plus, I’m getting rid of all my old clothes and accessories. Literally all of them! I want an entire new closet…there are so many clothes that I haven’t even worn! I’m thinking about just selling them for a buck each. Wish I could do it online but with the shipping, it’s kinda not worth it. I’ll probably make a page here too and show you all and maybe people can buy in bulk. Okay well ttyl!

In case you didn’t know, I’m a huge dog fan. (Sorry to cats but no thank you)

I’ve always wanted my own dogs but realistically, it wouldn’t be fair since I have such a demanding schedule. Same with having kids, I’d prefer to live my life, be free-spirited and do anything I want without anything or anyone holding me back. I just want to be independent and selfish right now…i’m still young right?

And plus I’m honestly thinking about the dog. If I had a dog, I’d want him or her to live an incredibly exciting life and I can’t provide that right now.

I’m fine with not having a dog since my sister has 2 cute ass yorkshire terriers and my boyfriend has a yorkie and a maltese.

About Prince: He’s really shy and is bored easily. He cries all the time day and night until you play with him or take him on a walk. He loves messing around but if you accidentally scare him, he’ll run away and hide from you. He is a bit of a hassle to take care of because the only time he’s quiet is when you massage him, but as soon as you stop, he starts whining again. Who has time to freakin massage 24/7?!

About Coco: She is one of a kind; I have never seen a dog as smart as her. I swear she understands English! Sometimes we’ll just point to an area and she’ll go straight to it! Or if we tell her we need privacy, she’ll leave the room. She always wrestles with Prince, and she ALWAYS wins. She’s pretty competetive. She’s the ideal dog if you have a super busy life. 
 She’s happiest when she’s sitting on your lap or sleeping beside you. And she never cries. The only time she gets up is if she has to go to the bathroom and she’ll lead you to the door.

About Rocky: Rocky is the Yorkie. makes the weirdest poses…he’s a little awkward. He jumps on you and let me remind you, he is an 11 pound yorkie and him jumping on you doesn’t feel too nice. He likes to intensely rub his face and neck on things. We still haven’t quite figured out what it means when he does that. Either he loves you and is showing you affection or he thinks you’re a toy and that he owns you. Hopefully it’s affection because he constantly does it to me. =/

About Polo: He is a real scaredy-cat and does NOT like meeting new people. He will run away in fright. He’s a bit annoying because he doesn’t understand the word “No.” He likes to lick you all over your face, including your eyeballs and I bet you can imagine how annoying that is considering “No!” doesn’t help one bit. He hates when Rocky stands near him and growls with a crazy look in his eyes. I guess he likes his personal space.

I love all my dogs and try to visit them at least once a week. But lately I’ve been itchin’ for a new one. I have always liked Westies…if you don’t know what that is, it’s the main dog seen in Cesar Milan’s dog food commercials? Here is a cute pic of one:

Isn’t it soooo cute? I want one so bad because I’ve heard from people they’re so smart and easy to take care of. I love Yorkies to death but I want a Westie to add into the mix. I’ll definitely consider one once I move into a new apartment. Startig next week, I’ll be apartment hunting! Hopefully I find a place fit enough for a princess. I’m not gonna settle for anything less!

Boyfriend jackets are so chic, I think every girl should have one. I was inspired by the idea when I saw Kim Kardashian strutting around with one. It’s like a professional business blazer but chic and trendy. I like wearing it with extra casual clothes like jeans and a casual tee or just a simple tight dress.

I guess I really appreciate the idea of “casual chic.” It’s the latest trend because you don’t want to look too overdressed but you still want to look cute, so mixing something casual with something dressy is definitely the kind of look I strive for.

Here is a pic of the jacket I got. I got it in black but once I saw gray, I kind of want a gray one. It’s $60 at Nordstrom’s. I got it for $30 at Nordstrom Rack.

Totally want another one so bad! But yeah…go out and get yourself a good one! You won’t regret it…it’s a timeless classy look. You can even wear it to job interviews…it has so many uses!

I love cell phone covers, laptop cases/covers, and even camera cases! Something about the design of a case makes me appreciate my gadget even more.

Lately I’ve been on a Juicy Couture craze. Their designs fit my taste so well. I just bought a cute cell phone cover which is coming in the mail soon. It looks like this:

I also just got Juicy Couture perfume but the lady at the counter tried to force me to get Viva La Juicy because it’s the more popular one. It just so happens that it was $10 pricier and it just so happens that she works on commission so I kind of didn’t really trust her. I just stuck with the regular Juicy Couture and guess what? Kind of a bad choice.

I mean the fragrance smells great but it’s a little light and fades away quickly. I like the kind of perfume that will make heads turn and wonder “Mmm…I wonder what scent she’s wearing.” I want everyone to get a whiff of my scent. That’s how I roll.

So I kind of wish I agreed with her and got the Viva La Juicy. I guess that’s the last time I buy perfume on a whim and not take the time to research and smell it. I’m still on the search for something strong and pretty.

I went to Sephora recently and the nice lady at the counter offered me a perfume sample. I described to her:
“Something both fruity and floral at the same time. A girly scent yet very exotic and flirtatious at the same time.”

She immediately went straight to Escada Ocean Lounge and said it was exactly what I was looking for. When I smelled the sample, I didn’t think it was that great but I took it anyway to be polite. I used it the next day and my boyfriend was ecstatic! He loved the smell and said it smells like “an attractive female.” EXACTLY what I was going for. =D

So duh, of course I’m going to get it. But I noticed over time that the smell fades a bit fast. Maybe perfumes just fade on me.

Anyway, Sorry I haven’t been blogging too often. I will get better! Oooh and I’m going to update “The Hills” section. yayyy!

So a lot of people know my sister is a reporter. And I’m her biggest fan! OMG, this is the funniest video I have seen of her yet. HAHA

I have a bad habit of buying makeup in excess when I already have a sufficient amount. I was planning on buying just one lipstick on Sephora.com but then I accidentally broke one of my favorite makeup items.

I religiously use Anastasia’s Eyebrow Powder Duo in Brunette. Since my sister introduced me to it, I have been using it for 2 years. I was using it the other day and being the clutz I am, I dropped it and it cracked into a bunch of tiny pieces. It was kind of an excuse to shop around online so after a few hours, I decided on getting:

Eyebrow Powder = $22
Red Lipstick = $12
Lipliner = $5
Black Eyeliner = $8


= $48 

Free shipping on Sephora is $50 and up. Dammit Sephora, DAMN YOU! So obviously I’m gonna get something else instead of paying the S&H of $7. So I ended up getting some perfume atomizer which is a very useless item, I know, but I needed something cheap to push it close to $50. And I guess it’ll be easier than lugging around my huge perfume bottles. Anyway…here are all the goodies:

Plus, I got free samples of perfume, eye primer, concealer, and a few packets of spa treatments (masks, cleansers, etc.)

I just can never learn!! Online shopping is absolutely horrible! Aside from saving me gas, time, and energy, it’s the DEVIL I TELL YA! HMPH!

Anywho….DON’T THINK I FORGOT ABOUT THE REAL WORLD AUDITION! 

As soon as they interviewed me, I started shaking, stuttering, mumbling, and throwing out awkward laughs in between my sentences. OMG people must think I’m a freak! Just thinking about it is humiliating!  And then they gave me a pen to fill out a contract and I couldn’t even hold the damn pen. My hand had a mind of its own…it was trembling with fear. I swear I was staring at my hand for an intense moment and just prayed…Please ‘hand’ stop moving. Just get me through this damn contract in peace. I need you to stay calm and not embarrass me. I beg of you. As soon as we get through this, I will treat you to a mani and luxurious lotion. Just don’t ruin this for me….

Oy vey. Story of my life.

MTV emailed me again and sent me a VIP pass so I can skip the line and go straight to the front!!! I’m so freaking excited!!! I hope I can WOW the producers. ***EDIT***

I wake up today. An average usual day…I don’t feel too uppity nor do I feel irritated. I brush my teeth (unlike Jessica Simpson), wash my face, and hear the phone ringing. I look at my phone to see who’s calling and I literally see:

I’m like, are you freakin serious? Who the hell can it be? So I ignore it thinking it’s a telemarketer or another wrong number from a foreign country. Then it rings again so I decide to pick it up. So happy I did. My day went from mundane to freaking awesome!

So get this: MTV calls and tells me they would like to meet me in person and do a casting call for the next Real World Episode. I was so ecstatic and told them I’ll be there of course! I applied about 9 months ago and I can’t believe they actually responded. I always thought of myself as a boring person but I finally want to do something spontaneous! Hopefully all goes well and you’ll be seeing me on tv!

I was thinking about my email. What made them want to pick me? What did they like best? Was it my pictures or my actual essay? 
I remember writing to them telling them that I want to change the way people perceive Asian Americans. I don’t know if I’ll be a good or bad role model but I definitely am going to be different from the typical Asian stereotypes. I want to give a refreshing new look!

I can’t wait to update about it! Fingers crossed!

Hey it’s pretty much done! How do you guys like it? It took a while to find a good one that fits me but so far, I love it..it’s so me!

I don’t know if you’ve noticed but since the last layout, I’ve added the following new goodies:

• A live counter so I can see how many lovely visitors I have on at the same time as me. 
• “T.V. Talk” section where I summarize my favorite shows. Read my first post here.

• A poll that I plan to change weekly just to make the site more interactive
• More pics!

I promise to update more often and to add more widgets here and there. Right now it’s still unfinished but I definitely want to keep at it and be consistent so that the final product will be finished faster.
