P.S. A few items I got from Forever21…

1. Forever 21 eyeshadow kit. I love this…it is actually really good for about $8. It’s a must-have, I had lost mine and bought another one the same day. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.

2. Forever 21 glitter eye kit. This is bad! The glitter doesn’t stay and does nothing for your eyes. I recommend Victoria’s Secret glitter liner.
I give this 1 out of 5 stars.

3. Forever 21 eyelash curler. Honestly, it’s not as bad as you would think and it’s only $2. I normally prefer these kinds of curlers because I feel like they curl easier and they’re so compact and cute for your makeup bag.
4 out of 5 stars.

4. Forever 21 tweezer. Nope, not my thing. It hurts when I use this and it’s so stiff, it doesn’t bend well, making it hard to use.
1 out of 5 stars.

I recently have been so busy juggling a few things. I’m sorry that I’m always M.I.A.! I’ve been taking a look at different cameras and although I’m learning towards a Canon, I do want something with more features where I can edit the picture onto the actual camera. It’d be nice if it had HD video too.

I’m working on a Youtube channel with one of my girlfriends so it is in the works. I think we are leaning towards makeup and skincare reviews but I will keep you updated

I’m sure you’ve all heard of this new “Ombre” fashion craze. If you haven’t seen it already, you can google pretty much any celebrity out there (Rachel Bilson, Jessica Biel, Sarah Jessica Parker, Lauren Conrad) The list is endless! I’ve always wanted an ombre look but not harsh like Drew Barrymore’s where it’s really dark on top and light on the bottom….

But I wanted a more gradual one. It took a few trial and errors but here’s the result:

I wish for a better camera! UGH! It would look so much better with flash!
But you can kind of see the gradual colors. I love it and I’m hoping to go even blonder but I’m going to masque the hell out of my hair and give it a good spa treatment for all I’ve put it through!!!

…So I went splurging on makeup at Ulta and Sephora again. What else is new?

Here’s all that I got:

Starting from top left:

• 1.  Sephora Perfecting Cover Foundation in Medium Sand – I like it a lot. It’s really good but because it’s $22 which is close to Mac liquid foundation, ($26.50) I would have to say that Mac still takes the cake for its heavy coverage. But the Sephora one is pretty damn good and it comes with a pump. [3.5 out of 5 stars]
• 2.  Sephora Flashy Eyeliner in Deep Black - Love this eyeliner! I usually use automatic liners but this one is super soft and creamy. [4 out of 5 stars]
• 3. Sephora Gel Liner in Must Have – For $10, this is amazing!!! I definitely recommend it. [5 stars]
• 4. E.L.F. Tinted Moisturizer in Beige – I use this more than my primer! It moisturizes the skin, giving you a perfect canvas for your makeup. It gives you a subtle glow and does not leave you oily. For $3, it’s practically free! Go try it! [5 stars]
• 5. NYX Eyeshadow Palette in Velvet Rope - I have yet to try this to go out but I sampled some of the colors on my hand and I love them! I’ve been looking for a beautiful smoky purple palette. I can’t wait to try and show you!

• 6. Sephora Waterproof Mascara and Maybelline Falsies Mascara - I really like both mascaras, however Falsies gives me more volume. Sephora’s is okay, tends to flake a lot though. I give Sephora’s Mascara 2.5/5 and I give Falsies 3.5/5. I still think the best mascara ever was Maybelline Lash Stylist. BRING IT BACK MAYBELLINE! GRRR!
• 7. Sephora Blush in Romantic Rose - I wore this in the pictures below!! Check it out! Gives a beautiful romantic pink glow which does exactly what it says! I feel like going out on a date with this blush! It’s such a beautiful color and I like blending it with a bronzer so I get more of a peachy bronze look rather than a barbie doll look. But whatever floats your boat! I think it’s pretty pigmented and for about  $13, I give it a 4.5/5!
• 8. E.L.F.  Eyebrow Kit - This duo gel/powder kit works great. The colors aren’t too easy to blend if you don’t have the right skin tone and hair, but it works well for $3! [4 out of 5 stars]
• 9. Sephora Perfecting Eye Primer - I was given a sample of this and as soon as I ran out, I COULD NOT LIVE WITHOUT IT! It has definitely changed my perspective on primers. Don’t settle for those cheapie $1-5 drugstore ones, I honestly think this is the best out of all the affordable primers. $14 will last a really long time. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars!!!
• 10. Sephora Daily Makeup Brush Cleaner - Amazing. That’s all I can say! I’ve cleaned my charcoal black brushes until they were white again with just a few spritzes! 5 out of 5 stars!!!

2. QUESTION: What was the best concert you went to?
   HUNNI: I haven’t been to many, but I like the Justified/Stripped tour with Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera. I really want to see Cobra Starship though!
3. QUESTION: Who’s the sexiest woman alive?
   HUNNI: Carmen Electra!
4. QUESTION: Would you rather get up early or sleep late?
   HUNNI: Definitely sleep late!
5. QUESTION: If you had the opportunity to live one year of your life over again, which year would you choose?
   Hunni: Cool question! As lame as it sounds, I would re-live my junior year of high school! So fun!

As overrated and tacky as they sound, they really make an immense difference. I feel fab and new, and so confident… like I could walk down the runway wearing just jeans and a t-shirt. I love them and I don’t even feel like there’s anything in my hair at all.

I went in wanting to buy a new blush brush and left with a little more than I was planning to spend. Check out my splurges:

From Left to Right:

1. TooFaced Eyeshadow Duo in Thief of Hearts – $17
2. theBalm Hot Mama peachy pink blush – $19
3. Sephora bronzer brush – $26
4. Sephora Eyelash Curler – $14
5. theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer – $24

I’ve been using these items religously which is why they look a tad bit worn out. I love these items when I want that summer glow like I’ve just spent a day at the beach.

See what I mean…

After powder, I use my bronzer brush on my cheekbones, tip of my nose, and a quick swipe past my forehead/chin area. I then use my blush brush and apply the Hot Mama pink blush on the apples of my cheeks. I love it because it’s the perfect soft pink for my skin tone with a hint of shimmer. Then comes my favorite part: the highlighter. I use a fan brush because I want to to lightly dust my face to add a nice shimmer and help give me a polished look. This is a bit tricky. Using my fan brush, I dust from below my brow-line down to the bottom corner of my eyes. Like in a C motion. It’s a great shimmer shadow too! <3

We stopped by the nearest Korean market and grabbed the food. The meat was so easy to cook, it already came marinated so you just have to throw it on the grill pretty much. We also picked up some sides to give us that same “restaurant” feel. I TOOK SOME PICSHAZ FOR YA!

The yummy beef

These are called Spicy Kimchi Cubes.
It tastes kinda like cucumbers dipped in spicy, sour sauce. Very crunchy! My fave side!

To the left are spicy cucumbers and to the right are mashed potatoes mixed with apples.
It may sound weird but it really compliments the spiciness of the other sides.

My roommates love these noodles! They’re pretty yummy but don’t have too much flavor.
I prefer rice over noodles when it comes to Asian food.
And in the very back, we got some good ol’ California Rolls! Gotta add some sushi to the mix!

Well, there ya go, my delicious feast! Sometimes when you’re a little lazy, it’s fun to go out and make your own food, plus it’s more affordable if you’re sharing with some friends!

Sorrrrry I’ve been MIA but I’ve been super busy. I’m totally gonna update soon…I just got a Macbook Pro so I’m going to be online more often. I was kind of sharing my old computer with my family so yay, I have one of my own! TTYL!
