Downtown Shopping!

I went to Santee Alley in Downtown L.A. with a bunch of girlfriends and I got a few cute things so I wanted to show you guys my Downtown Haul!

MAKEOVER TIME!

So I decided to chop off all my split ends which resulted in my hair looking bland and dull. Didn’t matter if I curled it, straightened it, tied it in a ponytail, my hair was looking more drab than ever. One of my girlfriends gave me the answer to all my prayers for fabulous Kim K.-looking hair! EXTENSIONS!

As overrated and tacky as they sound, they really make an immense difference. I feel fab and new, and so confident… like I could walk down the runway wearing just jeans and a t-shirt. I love them and I don’t even feel like there’s anything in my hair at all.

Shopping Spree: Sephora Splurge!

Dammit!
I can’t ever go into Sephora and leave empty-handed. It’s so difficult…it’s like a candy store for makeup addicts!

I went in wanting to buy a new blush brush and left with a little more than I was planning to spend. Check out my splurges:

From Left to Right:

1. TooFaced Eyeshadow Duo in Thief of Hearts – $17
2. theBalm Hot Mama peachy pink blush – $19
3. Sephora bronzer brush – $26
4. Sephora Eyelash Curler – $14
5. theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer – $24

I’ve been using these items religously which is why they look a tad bit worn out. I love these items when I want that summer glow like I’ve just spent a day at the beach.

See what I mean…

After powder, I use my bronzer brush on my cheekbones, tip of my nose, and a quick swipe past my forehead/chin area. I then use my blush brush and apply the Hot Mama pink blush on the apples of my cheeks. I love it because it’s the perfect soft pink for my skin tone with a hint of shimmer. Then comes my favorite part: the highlighter. I use a fan brush because I want to to lightly dust my face to add a nice shimmer and help give me a polished look. This is a bit tricky. Using my fan brush, I dust from below my brow-line down to the bottom corner of my eyes. Like in a C motion. It’s a great shimmer shadow too! <3

Best Christmas Gifts Ever!

Eek, I’m a little behind! Hope your New Year is off to a good start!

Really sorry for not updating. The holidays were so hectic; I had a lot of different things going on and haven’t gotten around to updating.

This was the first Christmas I actually exchanged gifts with everyone. I normally don’t celebrate Christmas but it was pretty fun shopping for gifts a.k.a. running around the mall frantically picking gifts for everyone. I always find it so easy to shop for myself, but when it comes to others, it’s so darn difficult.

Anyway, let’s get to the good stuff. Here is a list of everything I’ve received:

Louis Vuitton Damier Speedy 30

Honestly, the Louis was probably my 2nd best gift ever! (Right after my Macbook Pro!)

You have no idea how ecstatic I was to receive this purse…I’ve always liked the Speedy style and shape. I thought 30 was perfect because I didn’t want it to be big and heavy; and also the 25 is like a little girl’s purse! So freaking small!

I haven’t used it too much yet because it still has a few creases and wrinkles from being folded but I will take more pictures of it soon! It’s so roomy and can fit so much; plus it’s not heavy at all! I really loved this past Christmas…I got some goodies!!!

I also received a $50 Victoria’s Secret Gift Card which I already spent on 2 lace miraculous bras! I don’t have my camera with me but I will take pics of them next time. Maybe, just maybe,

Shopping Spree

Hey everyone! Went shopping last week and forgot to do a short little haul and show you guys what I got!

I’m in love with this brush holder. It has 6 brush holders and a little side pocket for eyeshadows, concealer, etc.

Voila!! <33 I just throw this in my bag every now and then!

Remember in my last blog I asked for an Aldo clutch? Well, I went and got it for myeslf! It’s my Xmas gift to myself! YAY! You can wear short and cute like this…

Or long and trendy like this! I got this bag almost half off too!
