Episode 1: 4.27.10

The Hills has always been a guilty pleasure of mine that I like to bury deep down and keep from others. I hate to admit it but this shallow drama series is pretty damn interesting. I’m a little sad that this is the final season but I’m also excited to see what everyone’s been up to.

I was so excited to watch tonight’s premiere with my roommate. The previews looked so intriguing!

On Heidi’s Surgery

First of all, I am NOT a Speidi fan. I know that their personality has earned them fame and fortune, but honestly, I’m not liking them too much. Seeing Heidi’s new look blasted all over tv had me thinking she was craving more attention. After watching tonight’s episode, I feel sorry for the girl. We all have insecurities, lord knows I do. And I’m very sympathetic and open-minded to other people’s dilemmas…so when I think about how beautiful Heidi was pre-surgery, it confuses me that she would even want to alter anything at all. And to think a beautiful girl like her is so insecure that she would change her entire body is really saddening. What sucks is her own mom was making jokes. It was a really sad moment actually and I felt for her. I’m sure everyone else gives her crap and she has to hear it from her mom? 

Everyone has their own opinions on Heidi – I like how my roommate had no sympathy at all for Heidi and even felt that she was just consumed with materialism. She felt that she was so self-centered and superficial that she didn’t think about anyone else’s feelings. I totally agree with that too…Heidi’s surgery definitely sparks different emotions in me. I just can’t believe she really went through with it. Not that she looks bad but I honestly think she was prettier before.
And those boobs…yikes. =/ Oh well…if it makes her happy right?

On Lo, Stephanie, and Audrina Ganging up on Kristin

So the 3 bitches who appear as the normal ones on The Hills are actually the most annoying. Lo, Stephanie, and Audrina ganging up on Kristin? WTF IS UP WITH THAT? Me and my roommate could NOT stop laughing. Accusing her of being a druggie because she parties too much and lost her voice the next morning? Yeah she’s wearing sunglasses…it was bright & sunny, she had no makeup on and just woke up, and let’s not pretend that we’ve never been hungover please. And being celebrities, they should know more than anyone that wearing sunglasses in the morning is perfectly normal!

And my least favorite person on the Hills: Stephanie Pratt.

Not only is she an instigator and clueless as hell but she had 2 DUI’s so someone who is DRINKING and DRIVING should be worried about their own damn self. She said Kristin’s legs are too skinny…therefore she’s a crackhead? That’s ridiculous and I’m glad Kristin told them off. 

Anyway…can’t wait til next week but was I seriously the last person to know that Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner are dating? OMG when did this happen? Does anyone else think they are a random couple?
